The HART Communication Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that provides worldwide support for application of the HART Protocol. Established in 1993, the Foundation is the technology owner and standards setting body for the HART Protocol. Membership is open to all suppliers, end users, and others interested in the use of HART technology.

 

The foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that consists of nearly 120 of the world's leading suppliers and end users of process control and manufacturing automation products. Working together, these companies have provided unparalleled support for a worldwide fieldbus protocol, and have made major contributions to the IEC/ISA fieldbus standards development.

 

The not-for-profit FDT Joint Interest Group is an open collaboration of international automation companies for the proliferation of FDT/DTM technology. The mission of the group is to promote the acceptance and usage of FDT technology in several industries.

 
ISA-The Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society is a 33,000-member global, nonprofit, educational organization connecting people and ideas in automation. The Society fosters advancement in the theory, design, manufacture, and use of sensors, instruments, computers, and systems for automation in a wide variety of applications.
 

PROFIBUS is the world market leader in fieldbus technology.  PROFIBUS USA provides services to companies interested in PROFIBUS, whether as ultimate end-users, system providers or as equipment vendors. The organization provides technical support, distributes technical and promotional literature and organizes a wide range of training events.

 

Founded in 1928, WEF is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization. Our members are from varied disciplines and they collaborate with staff to realize the WEF vision of preservation and enhancement of the global water environment. The WEF network includes water quality professionals from 79 Member Associations in over 30 countries.

 

Members are the lifeblood of the Association, and the sections are the organized groups that focus their professional energies. Through involvement in section activities, AWWA members become the "first line of contact" with the public, and play a major role in assuring the public that AWWA and its members are dedicated to the promotion of public health and welfare by providing drinking water of both unquestionable quality and sufficient quantity.

 
API is the only national trade association that represents all aspects of America's oil and natural gas industry. Our 400 corporate members, from the largest major oil company to the smallest of independents, come from all segments of the industry. They are producers, refiners, suppliers, pipeline operators and marine transporters, as well as service and supply companies that support all segments of the industry.
 

The American Gas Association, founded in 1918, represents 197 local energy utility companies that deliver natural gas to more than 56 million homes, businesses and industries throughout the United States.  AGA's members account for roughly 83 percent of all natural gas delivered by the nation's local natural gas distribution companies.  AGA is an advocate for local natural gas utility companies and provides a broad range of programs and services for member natural gas pipelines, marketers, gatherers, international gas companies and industry associates.  Natural gas meets nearly one-fourth of the United States' energy needs.

 
A Non-Profit Technical and Educational Organization
The Instrumentation Testing Association (ITA) is a non-profit technical and educational organization.   ITA is internationally governed by 14 treatment facilities (both public and private, industrial and municipal and representative of small, medium and large water, wastewater and industrial systems).  ITA's members include water, wastewater and industrial treatment plants, consultants, manufacturers, non-profits, and regulatory organizations.
