In 1970, Endress+Hauser started their U.S. operations, initially establishing headquarters in Beverly, Massachusetts. January 1974, the U.S. facilities relocated to Greenwood, Indiana, where eight full-time employees went to work in a 5,000 square foot facility, to manufacture and market level measurement systems to customers in North America.
With the successful introduction of level measurement systems, flow products were added in 1985, with U.S. production beginning in 1987. During that same time period, construction was completed on a 6,000 square foot flow lab that included an extremely precise flow calibration system. In 1990, manufacturing expanded adding an additional 46,000 square feet. |
